I took Caleb to his first MLB game. I didn’t really know if he’d enjoy it or not. He’d never watched a game on TV before, except a few glimpses here and there. So all he knew about baseball was the tee ball he played. So I can imagine how overwhelming it was to walk down to our seats and see view.

Caleb’s been really into Star Wars lately. Although he’s only seen the original episode 4 (A New Hope) and part of episode 5 (The Empire Strikes Back). He’s still quite certain that no one in the world is cooler than Luke Skywalker or more scary than Darth Vader.

Our posting has slowed down over the past few weeks. Life’s been a little busier than normal. But, we’re not too busy to capture some home videos that we want to share with you. Hope you’ll excuse the typical, shaky, amateur, home video quality and feel just a hint of the joy we feel of everyday family life. However, if other people’s home videos aren’t your deal, then it’s OK to pass this one by.

People are always telling me to enjoy the boys while they are young because the time goes by so fast. I got a glimpse of that this morning. The three of us were playing in Caleb’s room when out of the blue he looked at Andrew and said, “You know Andrew, I’m going to be a parent soon. Then I’ll be dead.”

What a great weekend we had. We celebrated Easter with a few fun activities.

The other day Caleb and I were relaxing on his bed reading his new Click magazine. Click is a wonderful science magazine for kids, and it’s always a special treat when we find one in the mailbox. This issue was all about digestion which happens to be one of Caleb’s favorite subjects.

Do you have needs and issues in your life that need prayer? Of course you do. We all do. Unfortunately, our society prides itself on being self-sufficient. Having to ask for help—especially asking for prayer—is seen as a sign of weakness. Yet, we know we need to pray, and we know we need people to pray for us.

I can’t figure out how being an ordinary woman I managed to give birth to not one but two superheroes!
