Life in our house is finally getting back to normal this afternoon after a week and a half of Caleb being sick. Most of you know he had the stomach virus, a cold, then an ear infection in both ears. All he wanted the past week was to be held with no playing all day.
Today he played at Rachel's and had a great time, and this afternoon he has been so much fun. He is actually laughing again. He will play on his own without me again.
We played outside this afternoon, and when we came in I found this big piece of tree bark in his ear. I think the drops I have been putting in his ear for the ear infection have inspired him to try to put other things in his ears too.
Caleb also said two new words today. He said "piggy" this morning when he saw pigs in the blanket on his breakfast tray. He said "buggy" as I put him in the buggy at Wal Mart. Caleb now calls me BaBa since he can't say his m sound yet. He called my mom BiBi while she was here instead of Mimi. But the best is when he wants to see a movie. All you hear is Boobie, Boobie, Boobie. It is very funny. (He thinks he needs to watch a Baby Einstein every day since he got to while he was sick-but the movies have ended now!)
Anyway, life is getting back to normal. After a week and a half of a sick baby we are all relieved.
