By Tiffany on 31 January 2005 the wee hoursCategory: The Boys Today is Monday, which means I drop Caleb off at his friend Rachel’s house at 8:00 am. (Rachel lives one street up and is 3 weeks younger than Caleb.) They play together at her house from 8-11:30 on Monday and Friday they spend the morning playing at our house.
When I pulled up in Rachel’s driveway I heard this excited shriek come from the back seat. Caleb was thrashing around to get out of the car seat quickly. By the time we got to her front door Caleb was panting like a dog and waving his arms wildly. When the door opened he let out this huge “WOW”! Rachel greeted us by chanting “Ka Kub, Ka Kub” (it sort of sounds like Caleb). They have really become good friends, and he loves it at her house.
He ran right in and started playing while I visited with my friend Heather for a few minutes. He didn’t even have time to wave bye to me when I left. He thinks he is having all of the fun, but really I get the next 3 ½ hours all to myself!
