Caleb has taken sides

By Andy on 25 March 2004 the wee hours

I was hoping this day would never come. I was hoping that it would never have to happen, but it has. Caleb has chosen sides!

...and he didn't choose me. I can't say that I really blame him. I mean think about. How often does he nuzzle up to me and get a peaceful drink of warm milk? How often does he get to hang out exclusively with me all day. In retrospect, the choice was obvious, but I still wasn't prepared for the moment when I grabbed an otherwise contented little boy from his mom's arms only to watch in disbelief as his serenity turned to insanity. He began wailing and spitting and slobbering all over me. His arm was reaching out for his mom as if I had no feelings whatsoever. So I gave in and gave him back to Tiffany, and it was like a switch. Immediately his mood changed. In an instant he was calm again sucking his thumb. Call him a mama's boy, call him a "daddy disliker," or call him whatever you want—well don't call him anything you want because he's my boy and I'll still find him if I hear you talking smack about my boy...(sorry I digressed). We think it's just a phase he's going through, at least that what Tiffany tells me, but I really believe she's just telling me that to make me feel better. I'm officially accepting sympathy comments.

P.S. I put 2 new movies up. Check them out. Of course they're of Caleb. What else do we do around here?
