Sitting at the Big Table

Caleb made a big transition today with ease from his highchair to a booster seat at our kitchen table. This need to transition came from watching Super Nanny last night. Nanny Jo was getting on a family for having a toddler still in a highchair instead of at the table with them. I had never thought about it, but then we realized that there was no reason Caleb shouldn't sit with us. After all he is getting to be such a big boy! He can even drink from a real cup instead of a sippy cup!
So this morning we power washed a year of stuck on food off of the highchair, and we will put it up in the attic when Andy gets home this afternnon. Caleb seems so proud of himself eating at the table with us. I'll tune in next week to see what parenting tip I can learn from Super Nanny!
