Baby Flashback
By Andy on 26 November 2007 evening timeCategory: Baby
With about two weeks to go before the newest member of the Knight family arrives, Tiffany and I often find ourselves thinking about how life is about to get more difficult and challenging.
I remember having similar thoughts right before Caleb was born too. Yet, as I was looking through some of our older photos of him in his first year, it dawned on me how that perspective is deceiving.
Sure, life was crazier with a baby, and it will get even crazier with two children. But look what we would have missed out on! — Debora Nov 27, 01:10 PM #There’s nothing better than a new baby for the holidays! Sure, life with babies is challenging, but it’s the best of times as well.
I think from time to time how easy it would be with nobody’s health, well-being and future to worry about but my own, but then I think about how much the babies have enriched our lives and that I need to focus on enjoying each day.
I enjoy your blog!

— Pappy Nov 29, 12:30 AM #It took us 5 years after we were married to have the first baby, a little girl. A few years later we lost a child during the pregnancy. We tried again though, and when my wife got pregnant again we were thrilled and scared at the same time. We didn’t want to go through the possibility of losing another child. It now makes me shudder to think just what we would have missed if we hadn’t trusted God and had you Andy! I love you son, Dad.
