Cashing In

Since Caleb was less than a year old, we’ve been taking him to Chuck-E-Cheese. We’ve kept him in the dark about one little thing, but now he knows.

Up until now, he never realized that the little tickets had any value. Now he knows. We cashed in about 3,000 tickets (which is probably less than half of our overall career earnings over the past few years) and got him a couple of toys.

One of those toys was a rocket launcher. You jump on the launcher, and the rocket shoots into the air. Here’s us testing it.

Okay, ignore the weirdness of this picture, and just look at our nice grass. It’s coming in very nicely despite the last month of drought.

  1. Great pictures! Megan still does not know the tickets have value! She does associate Chuck E. Cheese with Caleb and always says “remember when we would go to Chuck E. Cheese with Caleb?” Everytime we drive past it or go! We miss you guys!

  2. Man, I wish we had kept the ticket value a secret from Sarah. She’s always known she could cash in her 50 tickets for 5 dinky Tootsie Rolls or the like. She could have something cool like a Barbie Dream House if we’d only been strategic like you guys! =)
