Finally Engaged!

My dear friend Sarah finally got engaged yesterday. Sarah and I have been friends since the eighth grade, and we were roommates in college. Caleb knows her as Aunt Sarah.
It looks like a June wedding in Texas for Sarah and Andrew which will be our first trip as a family of four. I am honored to be the Matron of Honor, and Caleb will be serving as the Ring Master. OK…really he is the Ring Bearer, but the circus inspired him to go by Ring Master instead. I’m trying not to hold it against her that she wants me to look at bridesmaid dresses while I’m nine months pregnant. I guess the wedding will be good motivation to lose the baby weight.
There has been talk the last few years of freezing her eggs if Mr. Right didn’t come along soon. Thankfully now that won’t be necessary! Seriously, we couldn’t be happier for the two of them. Andrew is a great guy. He’s the golf coach at Mercer University. Congratulations Sarah and Andrew.
