Grass

One of our last projects on our house was to do something to our heavily wooded backyard:

We wanted to be able to have a back lawn, but there was no way that we were going to get grass to grow amongst all the layers and layers of pine straw build up. So we had the pine trees cut down:

Then we were left with just a vast wasteland of debris and stumps. We had our stumps ground up. We had the debris picked up and hauled off. Then we brought in about 6 loads of dirt. Then we brought in the good stuff…ten pallets of Centipede grass:

Now we’re doing our rain dance.

WoW Andy, it looks great. I will be glad to see it. It looks like they and you did very good job. It looks very level and I know you want to get playground equipment for Caleb.
