I Owe It All To My College Bowling Coach
By Tiffany on 20 August 2007 terribly earlyCategory: Family
Andy and I took a bowling class together in college. We thought it would be a great way to spend time together. We broke up at the beginning of that semester, so we spent a miserable semester together in class but apart in love. We got back together right before the final because I pretended not to know how to keep score. Since that was a big part of the final, Andy offered to tutor me. I guess he realized that night how empty his life was without me, and he took me back.
We’ve not bowled much since then. A few weeks ago we had lunch at a Dave and Buster’s Restaurant that had a bowling alley. We decided it would be fun to let Caleb try out bowling for the first time.
Caleb thought it was so much fun. He was so adorable pushing that big ball down the lane. It seemed to take an eternity for the ball to reach the pins.
In the midst of enjoying Caleb’s first time bowling there was some competition brewing between husband and wife. It was a sad day for Andy’s bowling game.
The score was:
Caleb-68
Andy-97
Tiffany-156
Obviously it wasn’t even close. The only thing worse than getting beat by your wife is getting beaten by your pregnant wife! Poor Andy!

Well…my shoes didn’t fit. Also, the 16 pound ball was just too light for me…and they had the sports highlights playing on the big screen at the end of the lane which was very distracting. I also wanted Caleb to see that it was more about having fun then winning. Winning isn’t everything ya know.
