Stick Horse Racing

I took Caleb to the Fort Worth Stockyards today, and he had a blast. He really enjoyed running in the stick horse races. Here’s some footage of that event:






Stick Horse RaceI was a little disappointed in his lack of competitive drive. Look at him. He’s not trying to pass anybody. He’s taking the corners extra wide. He’s doesn’t care that it’s a little girl beating him. He’s not interested in impressing anyone. In fact, he seemed like he was running just for the pure joy of it. One day he’ll learn.
