Ten Years of Kissing
By Andy on 27 February 2006 early afternoonCategory: Marriage
My wife turned 29 years old today. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!
Exactly ten years ago today we told each for the first time that we loved each other. We were standing on Fairhope pier that used to jut out into Mobile Bay…No, they didn’t move it; Hurricane Ivan destroyed it a couple summers ago. We had been dating for three months. I was smitten. I kissed her for the first time.
Before we got to the pier, I had taken her to this little romantic restaurant called Ivey’s in Robertsdale, AL. A very quaint little place. I had called ahead and reserved the “anniversary room.” It was a single small room with one candlelit table.
She’s more beautiful than ever, I appreciate her more than ever, and I love her more than ever.
Here’s to ten years of kissing.

Happy Birthday Tiffany. May the Lord bless you with many more.
— Yannick Feb 27, 06:05 PM #I remember that night well – obviously I wasn’t there for the kiss – but I was there when she got back to our dorm room and threw herself across the bed. She had a huge smile on her face!
Hope you’ve had a great birthday, Tiffany!
— Sarah Feb 27, 07:47 PM #Happy Birthday Tiffany, and congrats to both of you on the 10 years of kissing!!
— Susan Feb 28, 09:27 AM #Tiffany, you never told me about this. I guess you did not want your mother to know!
You and Andy have created many piers now!
I Love you both!
